air conditioning quits
the ac has always worked very well on this car 1994 850 wagon with turbo. However, towards the end of last year when you turned it on it got super cold as it always has, but after running a bit the compressor kicked off. If it sits for awhile it will kick back on and get super cold. It varies as to how long it will run and how long it takes to get it to come back on. Any ideas? Freezing up?

Look up "clutch gap fix".
Basically, shim the clutch on the compressor with bread clips to keep it from disengaging when it gets too hot.

My A/C would work for a variable period of time then quit. I would turn it off for about 5minutes and it would work again....for a while. Identafix had a list of things to check. I replaced the relay...not the problem. I loosened the compressor and moved it so that I could see the clutch. Used a puller to remove the clutch. There was only one shim. Removed the shim. There was alot of rust on the two faces; buffed the faces, rassembled and everything is working great. Ran it without problem for the last week.
