760 Turbo IAC filled with OIL!?!?!
Hi I recently have been having rough idle issues with my car, seemingly choking out at times I have changed multiple things on the car, today I was out there trying to replace the coolant temp sensors, for the engine block and the gauge sensor, I got the gauge sensor out and the new one in with little difficulties, however to make space I took off the knock sensor and the IAC, when I pulled the IAC out this thing was dripping oil everywhere there was alot in there I let it sit on a paper towel while I finished tightening in the new gauge sensor, the paper towel was cover in oil and it even left oil on the driveway, I'd read a few different articles about having a clogged or dirty IAC causing idle issues, but what about this thing being soaked in OIL!!! this is very annoying I want to clean this IAC Can I use Carb Cleaner to do that? Also what do you think would be causing this massive amount of oil to accumulate in this thing? I did try to spin the IAC the little element in there seemed to spin but it would go about half way then I would lose it and couldn't get my screwdriver at the right angle to spin in a full circle... any ideas on this situation would be appreciated.

Thanks yes I know I have completely changed the OIL Breather box, and complete pcv system since acquiring the car, I know I have had issues the previous owner had the pcv system blocked off with a bolt at the end not connected to the engine block, but I have since replaced the hoses and the pcv system and breather box so I know I'm good in that regard, do you think the IAC is toast?
