Has the car got an Electronic Throttle Motor or is it a manual cable, if its an ETM it could well be that on its way out, get the car scanned for any diagnostic trouble codes as a failing ETM usually throws a code (or two) - Mike
I would say etm as well... you probably have a dead spot around the idle position. No check engine light?
if the ETM is ok it's most likely an airflow or metering issue. MAF might be a suspect (but since this is a T6 probably not? im not too sure how the T6 intake system works) or maybe intake manifold gasket or something stupid like that
