If I start my glt and let it warm up in place for more than 5 min the transmission arrow begins to flash and the car locks in gear. The next time I drive it the car functions properly, however the light remains flashing. The next time the light goes out and all is well. I have tried this a number of times and verified this sequence. All this seems to have developed after a tranny flush. It was done by my regular mechanic and re checked afterwards.
any ideas?

Get the code pulled from the computer. That will tell you where to start. The flashing light is a trans problem - sorry. Do a search on the "arrow" or "transmission" and check out the threads on other trans issues.
I replaced my trans about 2k ago. I wnt through multiple flushes in hopes of flushing the problem away.
Good Luck.

if this developed after tranny flush, u need to check fluid level and its possible bubbles could have formed inside, fill it up to the top hot mark when hot (check when temp at 3 o clock)
