2001 V-70 T-5 Rear window washer pump

Post by Craigd2599 »

Hey fellas...My rear window washer pump is failing. According to the dealer the wiper motor and reservoir pump are one unit. Is this the case? Any cheaper sources besides the dealer?

No, the washer motor sticks int the reservoir. There is a rubber grommet the inlet snout of pump sticks into and the reservoir has a semi-circular pocket the motor pops into. You do have to remove the reservoir for rear pump access if I remember correctly.

Thanks. I'm actually investigating this for a buddy. The local dealer told him it was all one unit and had to be replaced as a unit...$650
