Hi,
Does anyone know where the cabin filter for a 2005 XC70 is located? Even more important is how to change it? All the research I've done points to a location under the hood, but that seems to have been changed by 2005.
Any help would be appreciated
John

It's a really easy job! First to determine what filter you need look at the recirculation button on you climate control module, if it says "man aut" on it you need volvo part number 30676413- the big one. If the button says nothing you need the smaller filter, part number 9204626. Both of these filters can be bought at www.fcpgroton.com if you haven't already bought one at the dealer. Next grab a T25 bit and remove the panel underneath the glovebox, 2 screws. When you get that off you will see a white box with a black cover right up against the fire wall. There are 4 screws holding that cover on. Remove cover, remove fliter and reverse the process. All V/XC 70's are the same from '01 on.
