So if I've just replaced the starter and the vehicle does not start every time. when the key is turned to start nothing happens. Then I will repeat and repeat and repeat and finally the starter will get going and it starts right up. So if it is the signal going to the starter...
Is this the part I need to fix this problem:?

If the problem is the ignition switch that is the part you need. However, before splashing your cash do a quick check on the solenoid, the ignition switch and don't forget the PNP switch.
The attached is headed for the 240 but applies to the 740 as well.
Bill.
