From a '97 in your part of the world, yes. The cars with electronic throttle bodies (1999-2000 here; possibly 98-2000 for you) will not.

As long as your car is also a 20V, yes.

Hi there, Mine is infact a 2.5 10v n/a. I've measure the intake on the manifold and it is 67.2mm while the plate is 65mm so it should fit without any problems.

Would there be a issue with this mod?

For an even better modification, have you considered replacing the throttle body disc with that from a 960?

Hi Jblackburn thats the mod i'm doing atm. The issue i have found is that in the UK the 10vs have all been fitted with a throttle body from a T5.

So i've got a plate but trying to find a 20v throttle body in the uk is really difficult, however there seems to be loads of the 97-00 P1 V70 throttle bodies with the 65mm plate about.

Cheers for your help. bought the throttle body now, Going to get the head polished as well which should help a little.

Forget the '99-2000 20 valve throttle body as it's fully electronic and vastly different. The eBay seller you linked to obviously has no knowledge of this. Not too certain what Volvo did with 10 valvers in the UK between these years, though.
