Just wondering if the alternator could be causing a intermittent malfunction in the electrics which produces a drop in revs.

Guess it wouldn't be that hard to swap out with a known good one; just another item to eliminate from the (growing) list

Nope
Charging system has been checked, car has new cables too.
remember it only does this when completely hot(Not just the water but the oil, at least a full 20 minutes after starting the car).
When cold and up to the first 15+ minutes, the car runs 110%

You have previosly mentioned, that you are running rich and the MPG became not so good.It is possible, that ECT thermistor is malfunctioning and briefly enough to not set the code.I check my ECT with a graph (temp-resistance) at the cold and then thoughout the temp. range as the engine warms up.There is also specified voltage from the ECU to the ECT on the cold engine.

My mysterious idle dip -- warm engine, at stop light, idle drops 50-100 rpm then comes back up -- appears to have disappeared after I replaced the front 02 sensor.

Hey Jim- I second the ECT as well....worth taking a look at that- they aren't very expensive to replace either.

My car did the same thing. Turned out to be a faulty ground connection. If you haven't yet, check them all.
