To remove the old seal, use the sheet metal screws trick as mentioned in this REAR Cam seal DIY:
https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... hp?t=50752

To install new seal:
- Make sure the "garter spring" goes inside.
- Use appropriate socket (or plumbing PVC coupler) to drive it in. Wet the seal with small amount of oil first.

PS: I understand your car is on jackstand waiting for Raxles.
Don't leave the trans output holes open too long, you never know bugs, flies etc. crawl inside the trans.
Debris, dirt is the #1 enemy of any trans.
Just use masking tape to tape the opening for now.

Here is the new Volvo seal PN 6843112.
The garter spring is visible around the ring. This side would face transmission when installed.
A PVC coupler to help the seal tapped in to the opening of the drive axle chamber.
