turbo boost guage

i orderd a turbo boos guage for my 850 turbo and would like to know the best place tp plug the vacume line to.

There is a vacuum tree on the intake manifold that has available/capped ports. Then run the line through the factory firewall tunnel, it comes out next to the brake in the footwell.

Your cluster should already have a turbo gauge, so you can daisy-chain your new gauge off of that.

The best turbo is usually the one that came form the factory unless you're looking at replacing an LTP with a HPT, so the first question is; do you want to replace it with something bigger? If so, how big do you want to go and what is your mod budget?

Depending on how big you want to go, you'll also have to upgrade a few other bits under the hood; ECU tune (for starters), exhaust & intake pipes & manifolds, injectors, fuel pump, etc. Then you'd probably also want to upgrade the brakes to handle the new power, and probaby deal with the suspension to make sure all that power will stick to the ground.

Might also want to spend some time searching over at Swedespeed.com - there's a ton of tuners over there that would be happy to suggest the biggest, baddest thing you could strap on.
