The fan in my '86 240 GL is making an awful lot of racket so I'm planning on replacing it since Montana has a lot of very cold months, does anyone have any advice on replacing it? Difficulty? I just replaced the water pump, timing belt, tires, and I'm doing some work on the exhaust and this is the next thing on my list besides wiring.
Please and thank you!

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.
Replacing the heater fan on the 240 is not one of the easiest jobs.
It is well documented here. Also consider the "chainsaw method" mentioned on that site.
Bill.
