Vacuum line diagram wanted for 240 Fuel Injected 1983

Hi

I have just replaced the head gasket on my 1983 240 StationWagon (fuel injected) and now find that I am stumped by the vacuum lines.

It has taken me about 3 months from the start date; and my memory is not that good.

Does anyone have a diagram of where all the vacuum lines go? A hand drawn diagram based on your vehicle would be good.

I need everything including the Charcoal cannister and the "thingy" on the inner guard. There is also a vacuum switch on the firewall that I have no clues about.

I have searched the internet and the State Library but still cannot find a diagram to sort out the vacuum lines.

Note: I have worked with many manuals for different cars and the vacuum lines are always omitted for some reason.

As I say, any help will be appreciated.

With newer Volvo's it is on the backside of the hood in front of the passenger's side on a sticker. Check there on yours and you might save yourself some time and headache if yours has the same thing. I took a digital picture of mine (due to very small size and hard to see) and blew it up on my computer screen to truly analyze it. This, however was for an S70.
