Hi! We just replaced the 'bad' turbo on my 2004 volvo xc90 t6 and it is still billowing white smoke. We read one post which suggested running it to get rid of all of the excess oil etc., that are still present in the system from when it blue, but when we run it it totally loses power and we can hear the coolant pouring into somewhere?!? Any suggestions? There is no coolant in the oil, as far as we can tell, and the smoke is definitely white, and billowing like you wouldn't believe!
I am ready to take a sledge hammer to it. But, I need my car!

Did a mechanic diagnose and do the work? If so I'd be taking a sledge to them first!
Is the smoke coming from the tailpipe or just from "around" the motor under the hood.
