Having concluded that I can't use a ScanGauge on my 1995 850, because it really doesn't have an OBD-II port (https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =1&t=56314), I am wondering about installing an MPGuino instead (http://ecomodder.com/wiki/index.php/MPGuino).
It's probably a long shot, but has anyone actually installed an MPGuino on an 850? If so, any pointers on installation and calibration?
Many thanks, again,

Install MPGuino on 1995 850?
Still puttering away on this when I have the time. I think I can find a fuel injector signal wire, but I'm not so sure about the vehicle speed sensor. Is it on the gearbox for standard shift (my car) as well as automatic? What am I looking for?

On a '95 the VSS is on the bottom center of the transaxle but it is an analog sine wave signal. If you need a digital pulse train then tap into the wiring from one of your ABS wheel sensors. The frequency is all the same.
