I have a 1998 Volvo S70 T5.
The glass panel of the sunroof sits in a metal frame. This frame is rusted severely and is leaking.
I have to replace the glass this panel. I managed to find a used glass panel and would like to install it. I found instructions on removing the panel here on Mattews site but it is for a the 850 model.
Is the removal procedure for the S70 the same as the 850?
if not, where can I find it for the s70?. I tried to find it but cant seem to track it down.
Any help with this, would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
G.F

Don't know about the S70, but for the V70 it is dead simple. I did it a couple weekends ago and posted about it. Toughest part of the job is coaxing the plastic trim out and that just takes a little bowing of the pieces.
There are 6 torx screws associated wiht the sunroof assembly. You only need to remove the front most two on each side. Leave the rear one alone.
Four screws out, lift off panel, replace with new panel, insert and tighten 4 screws. Five minutes tops if you are working super carefully. Use red locktite on the screws.
