Need help, C30 CV boot replacement
Hello. I'm in need of help. I have an 08 C30 that has a cracked inner CV boot. I've got the parts. However, I cannot figure out how to get the axle out. I was trying to use this. However, the suspension on the C30 differs significantly from the pictured car. I've got the tire, brake caliper and rotor off, but can't get any further. I assume I need to drop the control arm, but I cannot figure out how. Any tips and/or pictures or video would be really appreciated.

Okay, update. I can get the control arm undone, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get the ball joint separated from the bottom of the wheel assembly. Can anyone give me some suggestions?

here is cheap version of a ball joint sperator. be careful of using a big pipe to lever it out as they sometimes cut the cv boot. I use a ratcheting come a long and pull the ball joint down, once separated, by attaching from the ball joint area on lower control arm and the opposite side of engine subframe
