You would have to remove cylinder head and do some checks.
Severe overheat on aluminum block engines can allow the block to distort. The head and block top and head surface need to be cleaned to know if the damage is severe or if the engine can be repaired.
Did the coil cover or timing belt top cover melt to head?

That's not good. Usually (not always) when that melts, the aluminum breaks bond with the steel cylinder and the cylinders drop a few thousandths. No way to keep that from having a head gasket leak.
