98 V70 GLT coolant usage and spot under right side

I have noticed that my car is using a bit more coolant than it has in the past 3 months and sometimes there is a wet spot under the passenger side engine area. I haven't had an opportunity to really get in there and pull the wheel. Could this be a water pump leak? I keep feeling like the PCV needs replaced which I am the process o making happen. If this is the case, could this force a leak of coolant?

Check the simple things first. Inspect tank and hoses. Had the similar problem on one of the V70s. the bottom hose was torn. We also replaced the two small coolant hoses on the backside of the motor.
