original style dipstick O ring

original style dipstick O ring

Hey there everyone! Im new to MVS, but I've been over at Swedespeed for quite some time. Anyone have the P/N for an oRing that is suitable for the original style dipstick tube? Needing to know this by morning. Thanks everyone.

Do you have the 'old' single 'o'-ring or newer double 'o'-rings? The later 2 ring part is no longer listed by Volvo, but you can use a later part number from a P2 model. I believe the part number is:

Engine Dipstick O-Ring 955973

FCP Euro also list an 'o'ring but has a different part number.

At this age, I'd buy a brand-new dipstick for $16 at dealer.

The dipstick I bought from Volvo dealer 1271920 which is the same as 1271921, clearly says "Made in Sweden" on the label.
