1997 850, no crank, trans arrow, econ light flashing
Re: 1997 850, no crank, trans arrow, econ light flashing
I'll be taking some time tomorrow to check the wiring out, I located a thread with a link to the wiring layout and was going to give that a peek as well. in the same post, "1996 850 turbo - dash indicator lights stuck on", it mentioned they had warning lights like mine staying on after the key was removed just as I do. They traced it all over the ignition switch and then came down to the fuse box. does the fuse box just slide out to reveal its connections?

Based on my volvo driving, not mechanical, experience, that sounds like an alternator heading south. find out, since I don't think it throws codes and you may end up losing power while driving.

There are tons of grounds on Volvos and they are all starting to go bad on these cars as they approach 20 years in age.
