They still break like all Volvos, too early mileage wise and too many stupid things that go south.
If I had an 04 and wanted to stay with P2 cars, at least go to an 06 or an 07.
Mod note. Jim passed away in early 2022, his contributions to this forum are immortal, and he is missed. RIP

That's what I was hearing also. The problems I am hearing about the 04's is a little common, but maybe the years are just catching up to them. Earlier said that I have not found a lot of information on this problem and I am still trying to find it.
Matthew, You had a 2004 (sig LIne) and it is gone, ever any problems like this situation with yours?
The 06 V70 I have seems to be a great running car, but only has 106,000 miles.

What specific problem are you referring to?

No, no problems with my V70 R.

Having said that, you've got to zero out everything you're not sure of, for best results. It's not cheap.

Didn't go to look at the 2004 this Friday. Owner put everything on hold. That may be a good thing, as I really don't know if I need a car with problems in the electrical department.
