I thought from 04 on things got better as far as reliablility is concerned.

If I had an 04 and wanted to stay with P2 cars, at least go to an 06 or an 07.

That's what I was hearing also. The problems I am hearing about the 04's is a little common, but maybe the years are just catching up to them. Earlier said that I have not found a lot of information on this problem and I am still trying to find it.matthew1 wrote:Better than 01 and 02.

What specific problem are you referring to?
No, no problems with my V70 R.
Having said that, you've got to zero out everything you're not sure of, for best results. It's not cheap.

Didn't go to look at the 2004 this Friday. Owner put everything on hold. That may be a good thing, as I really don't know if I need a car with problems in the electrical department.
