1999 s70 volvo power windows and wipers do not work when car

1999 s70 volvo power windows and wipers do not work when car

My 1999 s70 volvo wipers and power windows do not work when engine is running. However when key is only turned to the on position they do work. What is going on?

That's certainly an odd one. Disconnect the battery and go and press your brake pedal to discharge any remaining charge in the electrical system. After this reconnect the battery and see if things improve. Have your radio code handy as it will bebasking for the code.

I agree - Start with simple ignition switch check.
Jiggle the key when things are inop as a preliminary test.
You can certainly get a lot more technical, but start there.
