Finished PCV repl...car won't start

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Hey, I found the intake tube from the air filter box was not clamped down.....also the tube into the air filter box was not seated w/ the fluted inlet just above the radiator.

Nevertheless, it ran intermittently for 2 days....sometimes very smooth with no problems....other times w stalls & rough idles & weird start noises....I put a code reader on it at parts store....but it was not throwing any codes or CEL's

Now, it won't turn over at all....it just clicks....I think I wore out the battery restarting so many times. Any ideas to tell if battery needs charging.

Would a code reader with live data help me put finger on it or should I just tow to dealer?

Thanks

Have a similar problem: engine cranks but does not start. I refitted all the hoses and clamps, cables and connections. Can not find what could be the reason, I went through all the vacuum hoses and their clamps. No code is thrown so far, only the oil pressure lamp started lighting.
Thanks
