1994 855T trip computer changed itself to metric

And I would like to change it back to US. I tried holding down the reset button for 10 seconds with the power on, but that didn't change it. Ideas? I have no idea why it went to metric in the first place...

I believe you have to hold both buttons down in the display.

Thanks! I just tried it and it worked. For the temp, anyway. Still displays in liters, though... Halfway there....

Hi! On my previous car (850 -97) I put in a trip computer that displayed miles/gallons and temperature in Fahrenheit. I could change Fahrenheit to Celsius, but miles to kilometer could not be changed.
Are you sure it displayed miles, and not kilometers, before?

yes - the formerly mpg readout is in liters. MPG (L) reads around 10 while it used to read around 23...

I tried a 10 second reset with both power on and off, to see if the computer would switch from liters to gallons, now that the temperature is back to Fahrenheit. Nope, that doesn't do it, either. Ideas?

Try maybe removing the power to the battery.

Can you change from L/100km to mpg on a S70, I don't like L/100km?
