Hey thanks for the info. I just wanted to make sure I cut on the correct side. I have a welder I'm with you on the bad idea. I have read and study what I've got to do. I do thank you again for the info..Alex

Hey everyone, I put in the new fuel pump I ordered from RMEuropean but, it still doesn't drive right. When the car is put in drive, it seems to lose power and, eventually, dies in the road. It also pulsates really bad after putting in the new fuel pump. What else could be the problem then?

It also keeps backfiring, and won't accelerate. It keeps going down from 1,000 RPM and then, eventually, dies sitting it in park.

I removed the new sparkplugs (Autolight Platinum) I just put in, they were black as soot. I put the old Volvo plugs back in. It now runs a lot better. Maybe that was the problem.

I went to my friend's house to borrow his OBD and checked the code. He works for honda and looked at my car and noticed there was a hole in the house at the radiator. It was on the bottom so i couldn't see it. He noticed the hose was poping and there it was. It was large enought that my finger could fit in it. I put duck tape over the hole and it doesn't pulsate anymore and drives very good. Do you know the name of that hose? It is the one that comes from the top of the engine and goes under the manafold, it has a plastic hose that has 2 sensors next to the Starter. Thanks for all your help. I did tell the guys that I ordered the part from what was refered to me by you. The duck tape is just a temporary fix, I just need to know the name of that hose so I can order it.

It is an intercooler hose but there are three of them on that configuration. The top hose is part number 9161092.

That will seriously mess up the running of your car, these cars precisely meter the air flow, and any leaks in these hoses will leave that system confused.
