My personal opinion is that in mid Europe the convertibles are somehow taken as sporty cars, therefore they are a guys car.
Beside that it is funny to hear that Volvos are mostly driven by women in the states. Here ususally guys are buying the older ones because they are big and thursty, so "only" Volvo fanatics are buying those (which are usualy men).

I'd say it's a chic car and as manly as any other passenger Volvo. In pink...? White leather, now we're generalizing stereotypes.

Steve, be strong-"my" beetle conv is not a turbo, or a stick; it's powder blue and the tag says YAY ME! When we got the XC90 to replace MY minivan, I got the bug. Yay me!

And that is why the stats are skewed, Women may drive a large amount of Volvos, but they may be owned and registered to men. (spouses)

also, the late grille, jewels and some rims can add a dose of aggressiveness to a C70.
