They are also not the correct hub caps. 1989 DL 240's did have steels with hubcaps. Those look like the hubcaps they sold with the snow tire/wheel sets.

Optimistic or otherwise impaired. Because it has a 5spd the asking price is probably than the original MSRP!

It does look like a nice car, but I bet it has 25 year old most everything, although with low mileage. My 92 240 did when I bought it a few years back, like OEM ball joints still with the tar undercoating on them.

Cut the price in 1/2 and maybe a real fanatic would buy it. Drop the price to 6 or 7 grand and maybe it's worth it if it's as clean as it looks....to a fanatic.

Sent him a message about the price. He replied, i havent seen on in similar condition in 10 years of selling these

Well, I haven't seen one selling for $20,000 even when they were brand new.

Slim chance a loan company will loan more than several Ks, if that; so, who has the difference?

Almost no chance you can get a loan on 25 year old car, let alone anywhere near that price when the high book value is $3,500 should you total it.
