Does anyone have first hand experience with these lithium ion boosters? Seems too good to be true. I like the video of it jump starting the MDX. I like the fail safe mode that prevents arcing if mis mated.

I have no affiliation, but before I buy one, I was curious if anyone on the board has one.

Just used same one to spin up my T5 when I left the lights on for a week. It started it up.

It would not start my 3.0l BMW with the BT module drained the battery over 3 days.

My verdict..ok for small engine boosts, not good for large engine. Compression ration on BMW is 10.7, Volvo is 8.5. I think that's the crux of it.

I bought one of the $50.00 Harbor Freight jump packs a couple of years ago and it works every time. It is on my "top 10 handiest things I have ever purchased" list. My XC had been parked since September and the battery was beyond dead and it cranked it right over and started it.

I actually bought the 4 in 1 version that has an air compressor that never works but it was on sale for $45.00.
