93 240 replaced oil trap now car wont start

93 240 replaced oil trap now car wont start

took exhaust manifold, fuel rail, intake, ect off to get to oil trap. took pictures. made sure i put everything back. went to start car. lights turn on but when i turn the key. nothing. before i take this all apart and start over just wondering if anyone might know what it is.. my oil trap broke in half and i had oil leaking around electrical. but the car started just fine before i replaced it...thanks everyone!

You disturbed something electrical. Check everything electrical in the area you were working.

There is a smaller wire that may clip on a spade on starter's solenoid; it may be unclipped.

Bingo. If you have power in the cabin then the only other option in the case of the starter not activating is the car not being in park or neutral, or the neutral safety switch being disconnected.

that was it! thanks everyone. she started right up. but now my car feels like its stuck in over drive. i might of disconnected the overdrive solenoid :( i checked the relay and it clicks when i start the car and when i engage overdrive
