door switch 1993 Volvo 850

Post by volvodaddy »

Thanks to Lee's help I was able to identify a problem with my door chime that wouldn't turn off. By removing fuse # 17 the chime has now stopped, giving me temporary relief. It looks like it's the door switch that needs replacing. Some door switches are easy to spot but on this car I can't see the switch. Does anyone know where this switch is located and how difficult it might be to replace?

Regards,

i think the switch your referring to is actually part of the door lock mechanism located inside the door.. just trace where your push down the pin and under the exterior door panel.
