That was my concern, slow leak, as the one uploaded is the wheel in the worst condition (inner bead) the others are OK but will clean up all four.dosbricks wrote:If the inner bead is indeed as rough/flaking as it appears in the second photo, it would seem prudent to scrape and sand them. What you have there looks like a recipe for slow leaks and the attendant edge wear of the tires if their pressure is not checked often.
Those should look great on your S70. While you have the tires off is a great time to clean up curb rash with a power sander and touch it up.
When I purchased these wheels, they where as a set of 5, purchased them after a very long drive and one was badly bent, I mean visibly wrecked so thats why I haven't got round to sorting these wheels as was worried they may not be true but cheers for the reminder as I will definitely have these checked over before starting any work!MMT51 wrote:Before you do any work, have a good tire shop spin the rims and check for trueness. I bought four refurbished Volvo wheels from a reputable wheel dealer. They were beautiful, but two were out of spec (bent).
The car was out of service for the couple of weeks it took to track down two more matching (true) wheels.
