I'm looking to find out how to remove the dashboard panels to gain access to the back of the stereo. The car I am trying to do this on is a 2004 S80 T6 with HU-611 and Navigation. I am going to try to install an after market iPod adapter which plugs into the auxillary port on the back of the stereo. I had the Volvo iPod adapter installed by Volvo, and then removed. This unit was a total disappointment. Basically, it turned the iPod into a CD Changer and defunctionalized the iPod. Currently, I'm using a tape adapter and wanted to try a better option. FM Transmitters do not work well with the stock speakers (too much feedback).
