95 850 Clutch Master Cylinder Cover In Firewall

Post by polskamafia mjl »

Looking at the firewall I don't see any access panel that can be removed to slide the clutch master cylinder through. I was under the impression that the slushbox cars already had this pre-cut into the firewall.
No access panel?

Looking at the driver's side footwell area I noticed this next to the brake pedal bracket. Is this where the master cylinder should slide through?

If I'm not wrong the plate is near your O2 sensor plug on the firewall. Down and to the right of where the brake booster mounts with the four holes around the circular cutout. On the inside you will have to cut away some of the rubber to get to the bolts. They typically have some markings where they are.

Ahh yes, I see now. I was looking at the wrong side of the brake booster. Your picture is perfect. Thanks for the response!
