Hello
I'm a longtime p80 Volvo enthusiast that works on these cars for fun (mostly)! My daughter bought an 06 v8 xc90 that came with a bad intermittent vibration. I had all tires balanced-not the issue, replaced a rear cv assembly- not the issue, then with the wheels off I noticed the hub size didn't match the wheel; it was too small. The Po told me the wheel hubs had been replaced (with aftermarket). I thought that they put the wrong hubs on (65mm), so I ordered some new aftermarket units for the 06 xc90 v8. I went to put these on and they matched the ones I was taking off! I found a post on SS that said Volvo sent the wrong hub specs to the aftermarket manufacturers. Since I run a set of Neptunes on my p80s for winter, I grabbed two of the hubcentric rings I use and threw those on. Problem solved with a $30 part!
Second item is the dead alarm module. Because it was bad it killed the sunroof as well. Was told to unplug the alarm module (remove inner pass front fender two nuts and four rivets to access the plug). We tried the fuse but that didn't change anything; however, upon starting the car after the unplugging the sunroof worked. $4 fix with the new rivets!
Her xc90 is a beautiful car and I'm impressed with the power, ride and comfort. Hope this helps someone!

Great to hear that Volvo is playing fair with the aftermarket suppliers.
What is the correct spec for the hub bore size?
Did you leave the alarm module unplugged or did you plug it back in because it was a plug contact issue?
Thanks for the great info!!
