96 850T What seals to change on tranny swap?

Take a look at pages 49-53 of wheelsup's excellent engine-pull tutorial pdf. and you will see pics of all the seals and how to replace them. For larger pics see steps 66-71 of the thread. The trans pump seal is one in the same as the seal around the input shaft of the trans.

Just be very careful not to scratch any mating surfaces.

BTW, I recently ordered two of the SKF axle seals from fcp euro and got two Corteco seals instead. SKF used to be just as good, but who knows they may now be sourced from China. FCP has started to try to list country of origin for their parts and upgrade accordingly.

Thanks. Found it (steps 69-71 in the online 'pageless' version.)

Yes, the RMS is large and thin, so that is the right one. Kudos to Wheelsup!
