If the MAP sensor is leaking in in metered air it won't run well. The ETB cars like to have things right.Mokomaki wrote:Google tells me that im talking about a map sensor!

Makes sense yeah. A little update on todays behaviour:
Well this morning my first start the car stalled completly after a few seconds. Then after restarting it ran perfectly fine like the way it should. No rough idle. Went to the hospital with my wife today and we were there for a couple of hours. Came back and started the car. Idled rough for 10 seconds and when i gave it some gas maybe 1.5-2k rpm it started running fine again.
Even cleared the CEL again that had came on after yesterdays cold start.
Car is still missfiring (surging?) on 2nd gear even with medium low throttle.... Tried on 3rd today going about 80kmh WOT and it boosted very close to 1bar. So that seems fine.....

Most importantly what code was the CEL? Was it a mixture code pointing to the O2 sensor? Throttles that don't open correctly can cause this.

Take a good look at your induction hoses starting at the turbo and work your whole way to the ETB. Done right, this job takes at least an hour. You have to check each clamp and ideally remove each piece and look for splits or holes.
Turbos will run tough at idle and then magically cure at revs with small induction leaks

Had the a similar problem with a 98 V70 XC. IT was not the engine, but the ignition switch. Car would sometimes start rough with dull or missing warning lights and rough running or not stay running. Replacing the electrical part of the switch fixed it.

Good tips, Thanks. Basically the only part of the induction pipes i havent checked are the lower ones.
I did take off the pipe going from the ETB to the front of the car (cooler top?)
But below that i'm not really sure if something might of came loose..
I think i'll go to the local parts store today. I heard they'll read your codes for 10€...

Weeell... Didnt go to read the codes today. But i did check under the hood with a flashlight. And noticed some oil that looks like it's been sprayed onto my boost pipe....
Noticed that the middle hose from my oil trap has come off. The one with the 90* degree bend straight to the block....... Damnit! Really dont feel like taking the manifold off AGAIN....
