My heater core is toast. Really got bad today and i got a new one coming. I can't find anyone talking about how to change it in a 2000 volvo v70xc awd. What's involved where is it and are there any good write ups on it?

There are at least 3 write-ups in the VRD including one that discusses how to bypass the firewall coupler.
This is one I wrote. It is basically just behind the radio/CD player.

I just quickly scanned the heater core replacement for the P2 and got ill at the 'remove steering column" line...

Its 3.5 bookable hours labour on Alldata with the part listed at 560 USD, too

(Thats P2, not P80, topic of this thread.)

We've done it. They start with the heater core, and build the car around it. You do have to remove the steering wheel. Disconnect the battery, and get some instructuons via VADIS or something. It is a bit of work.
