I got it all took apart, but in order for me to get the turbo out of the engine compartment, I will have to disconnect the turbo from the manifold. Keep in mind this is the original oil cooled version. There appers to be a type of bend over tab making it impossible to get a socket on it. The tabs are impossible to bend over and even if I could the socket will not go down far enough without slipping off under pressure.
Any ideas? Any special tools or tricks?

Sorry, never removed a turbo on a 240 series. I thought they would come out with the manifold like the 700 series. Try posting on Turbobricks forum thewill help. http://forums.turbobricks.com/
