hello. i have an s40 2008 r design and my srs service urgent msg is showing up and ut cannot be cleared.
Now im thinking of replacing the module with the one i found at the volvo breakers. The part numbers are the same, so will it need to be programmed and also, will be msg go away or it needs to be cleared?

If donor is from the same car (the same MY same model and same configuration of SRS system it wont need to be programmed)
If you have questions about Volvo firmware ask me. I may know an answer

Plus if you have DiCE I can do software transfer from old module to the new one.
Or just clear these unerasable errors.

If the new module and software fits your car and this module does not have any error codes stored the message should go away.

Hiya, today I replaced my sirs control module with a second hand car off a vehicle that never had an accident, but the light are still on, This time will the lights go off if I go to a local garage?
