If the scan reset codes you need to cycle the ECM on an ME7 car before cruise works. I think I posted on this once. Drive it for a bit then try cruise again.

Once it starts faulting it is 5000-10000 miles before it will permanently limp mode, do enjoy the Holidays

Cruise is out again, but the CEL turned itself off. I'm going to reseat the ECU tomorrow if I can get the housing box opened.

Hmmm. Wonder if it's just a connector issue? Maybe some fine work cleaning and some no-ox?

Removed the ECU yesterday and sprayed with contact cleaner. Also did some delicate scrubbing with a Q-tip. Reinstalled now and we'll see if the CEL comes back. I'll update when I know more. Thanks for all the replies.

And the hits just keep coming . . . hunting at idle on start up this morning and ETS light on. This is for a ETM that was rebuilt by XeModex over the Summer. I guess it is coming out and getting shipped back to Xemodex for evaluation.
