S70 Side Marker Repair

has anybody got a good idea how to fix these, I have 3 of them with broken springs - the little plastic tab that holds them to the fender

You can play games with ty-wraps or try to fix the broken tabs,
but once the plastic gets brittle, it's a fix that probably won't last.
And aftermarket replacements have their own set of problems...

I just went with OEM's for the C70 jewel headlights - Way Better!

The little hinge/spring thing is broken so they don't latch, I may use 3m emblem stuff

I fix it this way: drill very small hole in the plastic tab left behind.
Use thin wire (from landline telephone wire that runs in the house) and attach it to whatever is nearby. It works great.

+1 on the 3M. Peel the existing
foam and replace it with the
molding tape. Good stuff!

I pick up a fistful of those every time I go to Harry's. Can't tell you how many unretracted seatbelt ends shut in doors have been the early death of those lights on my cars.
