Oh I did service the PCV :) just put all the new parts in, checked the EGR, cleaned the PTC and replaced some turbo vacuum lines :)

It was a little overwhelming working on all that at once (working also for the first time on a car) but it is lots of fun though.

I still need to do some stuff. Still open is:

- replace broken caps and seals of the injectors
- cleaning the intakes
- and something else will for sure show up :)

Sounds like a logical possibility.

Did you clean out the port from the bottom of the oil trap into the oil pan, or at least check that it is open? That is crucial, TBH.

Yes, I cleaned both ports out. Wasn't a lot of stuff inside but I made it clean anyways. Thanks for the hint!

Clean and grease the starter terminals and the alternator main terminal. Remove and clean the bolts on these puppies so that if you have to service them later, the bolts will come off easily. Remove ,wire brush, light oil, replace. Clean and replace oil pressure wire and connector. The AC compressor mount bolts also hold the alternator in, so remove and clean those too. Those are tough to do with the IM in place.

Ok, PCV is serviced and after the first test the glove test is successfully completed :)

After evrything I drove around to check if everything works fine. It did for the first 30 minutes. While driving the CEL turned on again. I checked the code P0326 is back! At least not something new.
But what really confused me was that I also had two complete stalls of the engine. Without any warning the engine just shut off and all the idiot lights turned on. I was happy to make it back home safely and not call the thow service and spent another $$$.

I was reading about that issue and it could be:
- empty fuel tank (had still 6 gallons in)
- fuel filter (was changed 2 years ago)
- fuel pump (was changed 2 years ago)
- electrical short

I checked my battery because I removed it while working on the PCV and yes, the positive pole was loose. So maybe this could be the case?

Anyhow, I now still have to tackle the knock sensor issue. I likely will buy a new pair of them and try it cause I dont know what to do anymore to fix the old ones.

It wasn't stalled because of the loosened battery terminal in this situation. If it was loosened, the car wouldn't have any electrical power and it would be completely dead...so you wouldn't see any of those "idiot"lights in that case.

If stalling didn't occured again,i would think that the car was re-learning it's idle speed since you reset ecu by disconnecting a battery in pcv replacement procedure.

It also happened during driving downhill. Just a coincidence?

A loose positive terminal can stall a car and also be intermittent.

Also you might try clearing the knock code and fill up with some 93 octane gas to see if it reduced the knock frequency or eliminated it.
