04 V70 Fuel Pressure Sensor/Regulator Location

There is no fuel pressure regulator/sensor on the fuel rail of my '04 V70 T5. Just a schrader valve on one end.

Where could the sensor/regulator be located?

The regulator is the flying saucer shaped silver part that attaches to the underside of the fuel rail between the #1 and #2 cylinder's injectors.

It is not on this fuel rail.

I have the fuel inlet, the 5 injectors, and a schrader valve. NOTHING else.

Then it must be inline to the fuel line running from the fuel pump. You have me stumped about location.

It isn't regulated by vacuum like the older cars. I believe the flying saucer is a damper, not a regulator.

I think the pump delivers 50 psi to the rail unregulated from ME7 engine management on.

That's the only thing I can figure. There is no pressure sensor/regulator. There is no fuel pump control module (apparently they put those on the steel gas tank models). The only thing left is for the pressure to be regulated by the pump.
