Hi
Can see there is an app for reading the cars data like bhp, 0-60 times and so on.
Can find it to OBD 2 from 95- who has the plug inside the cabin
http://www.totalcardiagnostics.com/elm327/
http://torque-bhp.com/
Does anyone know if you can get for the older 850 -94 with OBD 1 in the engine compartment ?
app for reading data

Have now fund out that it is not possible to get OBD1 connector and app for the old models like mine 1992 with OBD1.
It is only from 1995 with OBD2.
I can only read error codes and not something like bhp, 0-60 times and so on. To bad

Took two runs more :
6,70
6,83
If that`s right then it should be faster than a stock turbo ?
Talked to a swedish tuning company and he says that the GLT is faster than the turbo 0-70 km/h and then the turbo kicks in,
but with my modifications then mine proberly is faster. Could that be right ?

Yes, the low pressure turbo (LPT, 13g) is better on the low end than the high pressure turbos (HPT, 15g, 16t, etc). At higher RPMs, the HPT cars are quite a bit faster than the LPTs.

Apologies, I did not pay attention to the model year. There were no turbos in Euro 92 models and there is no way a stock NA is faster than one with a properly working turbo, on any end.
On the later year NA models (up to 96; starting in 97 the GLTs were all LPTs.), the GLT designation just refers to the accessories and trim package, it has nothing at all to do with the engine or transmission. Perhaps the suspension was different on some NA GLT models, but nothing in the actual drivetrain - all NAs are the same there. I assume the 92/93 GLT is the same but I am not sure, there are a lot of little differences in that first year that I do not know about.

Isn`t like this that you don`t get the full effect on a turbo before later ? It doesn`t kick in from start ?
I have modified trottlehouse to full effect from start and got chip in ecu program to deliver full effect from start.

Turbos always have lag, because they spool up using exhaust gas pressure. A supercharger will give you a kick pretty much right away, but steals its power from the engine instead of being a stand-alone "fan"... if you catch my drift... The larger the turbo, the more air gets pushed in, but the longer the wait for pressure build-up. So larger turbo = more top end power, i.e. slower power, but more of it. A small turbo needs less pressure to spool up, so better low end power - i.e. faster power, but not as much of it.
The NA 20 valves are pretty good - I think its a little suspicious that you can get 0-100 in 7 seconds, but depending on the app and your GPS accuracy, I'm not discounting it. If you don't trust it, get a lightweight buddy to sit there with a stop watch.
