Hello.
This past winter I had my cylinder head resurfaced at the local machine shop. Now that the weather is warmer I am putting everything back together. It seems to me that when I removed the cylinder head there was a metallic gasket under the valve cover (had two humps at either end). I don't see one now...the machine shop probably threw it away. But, I don't see a replacement in the kit I purchased from FCP. There is a flat flexible gasket which according to instructions bends around the humps. Is that all there is? No semi-rigid metallic gasket?

What's FCP part number? Got pictures?
There is a metallic "sheet" between the head and the block, but not between head and valve cover.
Tip of the Day - "As a matter of fact, I have never used silicone sealer on any European engine. I use non-hardening gasket sealer such as the aviation type."
