OK it took me a while to get back to this post, I did replace the springs an shocks, the Koni FSD's just didn't exist, I'd like to hear from anyone that actually been able to buy any of these things, I went to Koni and could not get any, (well unless I wanted to wait for 3 to 4 months !!) NOT !.
Anyway, went with the TME sports springs, and Koni Yellow adjustables.
The handling is great, a little firmer than I'd anticipated, but overall worth doing, I'm pleased with the results. Surprisingly the TME springs didn't drop the inch I'd expected, in fact didn't move a millimeter!!, all measurements are exactly as before, I didn't use the camber adjustment bolt at all as nothing moved.
I had back probs so couldn't do the work myself, but it's not hard, most any reasonable mech can handle it. I prepped by getting all the hardware an parts before I started, so all I had to do was assemble the new struts and hang them on, new nuts, bolts mounts etc... Goes great round corners, has no noticeable dive on braking, standard Michelins handle it well too, so have not needed to do anything there, would like to fit the larger "R" wheels as think they just look good
Need to start on exhaust system next, but paychecks don't come with that many zero's on, so will have to wait for my next birthday to come, or maybe a couple of birthdays
Have fun all

I have the koni FSD's with IPD sway bars, end links, and strut brace. Needless to say my ride is firm, but I love it! I think it would be better without the 18'' wheels and 225/40/18's I have but I'm paying performance for comfort. Can't find FSD's!!!??? Paragon-products has them out of Corpus Chrsiti, TX for $600.00 I got them shipped ground in two days (I live in Houston) . . . check it out!

Just replaced the struts and shocks in my 2002 v70 (2wd non turbo) at 82,000 miles. After talking with my Volvo expert decided to go with the OEM Sachs and am extremely satisfied with their performance. Huge difference in the ride and handling. Ordered all the parts from FCP Groton don't forgot in addition to the shocks and struts you'll need strut mounts, spring seats, shock mounts, and new nuts and bolts.
Also, replaced the sway bar links at the same time. One more thing, if you change the struts or have them changed make sure you also order the strut nut spanner tool from Ipd http://www.ipdusa.com/product.asp?strPa ... rtRecord=1
its worth the 26 bucks and your mechanic will thank you. Good luck.

Hi everyone I'm also a newbie here, and I just to ask about Volvo parts (Volvo 850) specifically Volvo Shocks, would I go for Koni or Bilstein? I'm confused, I need some help
Hi! I'm also new in here but I would be glad to give my idea.
I would suggest Bilstein because it really works for me so as the Volvo K&N Filter. I've been using the products for almost four years now and it really work good with may car.
It might work for you as well.
