1998 S70 AC damper closing

Has anybody seen this problem...................I've got a 98 S70 that the AC works fine on for a while. After driving with the AC running for a random amount of time it seems like the damper in the dash closes. The compressor is still running, the blower motor is still running but the air is not coming out of the vents. You can hear the back pressure on the blower motor as if a damper allowing air to travel through the duct work has been cut off. I can switch the selector to every position as well as any fan speed with no change. I can turn the car off for a few minutes and restart with the air coming out of the vents again, but only for a few minutes then it does it again. You can feel tiny amounts of cold air coming out the vents, but it's only whats making around the damper flap (so it seems). I'm guessing that it's either something in the control unit or it has a damper control motor. I'm lost and looking for advise from somebody that can help.

Haven't seen this specific problem but maybe other have.
