Clockspring broke, srs light on

Hello there guys so this morning pulling out of my driveway when I was turning wheel to lock on the left it got stuck right before lock and I knew what it was and I went to lock hoping the wires would tighten (after doing my steering rack I moved my wheel and didn't put in enough slack for the wires I should've done two extra turns but I only did one and I always heard them crunching as they got too tight each time I turned to the left so I knew this was coming) but this time they snapped as I heard a wire break, tested the horn figureing it wouldn't work but it did right when I let go the srs light came on

Now I know this is either dealer visit or using the Volvo cable after I fix the clock spring but i have a cracked version of the Volvo software with on a laptop with a serial port so I would probably do it myself, only thing is mines a 93 850... So if I have no obd then how would the dealership go about resetting the light and is it possible for me to do at home still? Any thoughts?

On a '93 you can reset the system with the OBD-I boxes under the hood. Port A-3 is the SRS and after you read all of the codes you can clear them and it will reset (assuming that you fixed the problem).
